Our story ...

Will and Sofie (... and Henry the cat) started Winter Bear Home in 2016, having always had a passion and interest in vintage furniture, along with the quirks, character and stories that they hold.

Over the years we would regularly visit markets and car boots, seeking unique items that caught our eye. We initially refurbished and revived pieces for ourselves, and our home soon became a personal expression of us. This passion grew through helping friends and family find their perfectly unique pieces, and became an idea we wanted to share with others.

Working out of our small South West London workshop, we revive and re-imagine furniture and homewares for you to continue their story and help make your house a home. You can purchase Winter Bear Home products directly through our website, or you may see us at one of the many vintage and craft markets we sell at. Alongside the pieces available to purchase, we also provide a number of bespoke services: Sourcing: If there is a specific item of furniture or homeware that you're looking for, then we'd be happy to source it for you. Just get in touch and we'll work closely together to make sure you find that unique piece you've been searching for. Whether it's an original and untouched, or something to be refreshed and updated with a look you have in mind, we're ready to help pair you with your dream item. Reviving: If you have a well loved piece of furniture that is in need of attention, or maybe it no longer fits the look of your home and needs updating to be brought back into focus, we can help. Just email us a picture of the item and a brief description of your vision for it, whether it's a small update or a full overhaul, and we'll bring it to life. Framing: What you choose to put up in your home is important and deserves to be framed by something that compliments and enhances. We offer a bespoke framing service to create something unique for your artwork, simply send us as an email with an accompanying photo and we can discuss the right frame for you. All our wooden frames are hand made to order, with a glass window and a number of wooden edging details for you to choose from. We'll finish the frame in your choice of colour with a distressed look.
