From concept to creation, the banquettes we made for Lilibet’s were a defining element of the interior scheme. From the outset, George Smith was the natural choice for the upholstery. As Russell Sage recalls telling Ross Shonhan, “If you’re going to reach this level of luxury, there is only George Smith.”

In total, the collaboration saw over a dozen bespoke banquette styles produced, each with its own individual design and finished with five different trims, all upholstered with exacting precision. As Leila from the Russell Sage design team explains, “It was incredibly complex, but working with George Smith gave us total confidence, every piece was made and checked to perfection.”
