Anthony Lau, architect and award winning Design Director, created the Cyclehoop in response to his bicycle being stolen. Its clever design prevents bikes from being lifted over street sign posts. Today over 2,000 Cyclehoops are helping keep bikes secure on streets all over the world.

We hosted a Sprint Challenge at The Security Event in Birmingham last month with a £50 voucher of their choice given to the quickest man and woman.

Sadly we're not recruiting for the Cyclehoop WorldTour team, we just want to spread the word of secure cycle parking and the positive effects it can have on people, communities, and the world.

Our 2025 customer survey showed that having a space in our Bikehangars encouraged 71% of respondents to cycle more. More people cycling means less traffic on roads, less pollution in the air, and happier lungs all round. It really is as simple as that.

We've mentioned it before but we're still proud of this one - Cyclehoop Bikehangars are now in Merri-Bek city in Melbourne!

We're incredibly excited to be branching out this far and spreading safe, secure cycle parking to distant corners of the world. Nowhere is too far for us!

Glasgow Climate Week starts on Monday 11th May and we're making Glasgow Trips, our on-demand cycle parking scheme, free for the whole week! We want residents and visitors alike to pick up their bikes, take to the streets, and really feel the benefit of multi-modal transport.

Glasgow Council have also organised a wide range of free activities across Glasgow where you can learn more about local communities and groups who are tackling climate change, and find out how to make a difference.

Midlothian Council's on-demand cycle parking trial is live!

Made possible thanks to a People and Place grant, funded by the Scottish Government and administered by SEStran, this programme supports behaviour-change projects that help people choose active or sustainable travel over car use.

Camilla, a Hammersmith & Fulham resident, whose Bikehangar we adapted to fit her tricycle spoke to us about how safe, secure parking for her tricycle has impacted her life, and now means she can join in with cycling activities with her friends and community.
