We’re Hiring — Site Carpenter / General Builder

We’re looking for an experienced site carpenter or general builder to join our ever-growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on residential construction sites and be confident operating independently within a small, skilled team.

We’re not looking for a senior management role, but rather someone who can bring strong practical experience, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, adding to the team’s collective skill set without requiring on-site training.

The kitchen at Lydford Road is crafted from offcut waste structural beech, a material chosen for its remarkable strength and stability.
-
Beech’s durability makes it an ideal choice for structural joists; however, due to its D30 strength grading, any bowing is difficult to correct. To account for this, we ordered additional contingency boards.
-
To minimise waste and make the most of this beautiful material, we designed both the kitchen and a bespoke kitchen table using the surplus beech. Every piece was carefully re-milled by hand in our South London workshop, ensuring a refined and sustainable finish
