The character of a kitchen is often shaped by its materials.

In this Belgravia kitchen, polished Brasilia Grey quartzite takes centre stage, wrapping the island and continuing across the wall panelling to create a sense of cohesion and quiet drama. Rich movement within the stone is balanced by bespoke hand-painted cabinetry and the warmth of solid oak drawer interiors, bringing together refinement, texture and practicality in equal measure.

Arabescato Verde marble takes centre stage in this Chelsea kitchen, bringing movement, depth and individuality to the space.

Wrapped around the island and finished with a sculptural double bullnose edge, the stone becomes both a functional work surface and a striking design feature. Paired with deep green cabinetry, dark-stained oak and unlacquered brass, it creates a palette that feels rich, layered and enduring.

One of the many reasons we continue to love natural stone, no two slabs are ever the same.

We're delighted to be featured in The Telegraph, sharing our thoughts on how thoughtful design can transform a kitchen without the need for major structural changes.

As Isobel Hussey of 202 design explains, successful kitchens begin with understanding how the space will be used. By carefully considering layout, storage, light, materiality and proportion, it’s often possible to completely reshape the feel of a room while working within its existing footprint.

The feature follows one of our recent Chelsea projects, designed in collaboration with where a layered palette of Arabescato Verde marble, dark-stained oak and hand-painted cabinetry transformed a previously characterless space into a kitchen full of warmth and personality.
