ReCOIL

Delve into the depths of Tasmanian Hydrowood with the Financial Times and the reshaping of forgotten woods.

By celebrating the spectrum of rich timber tones indigenous to the island of Tasmania, ReCoil continues Neill’s quest to recontextualise our relationship with materials and our role in the natural world.
Neill has recoiled over three kilometres of reclaimed Hydrowood veneer in homage to the annual growth ring formations of Tasmania’s treasured old growth trees. An intensive handmade process suggestive of coming full circle, ReCoil shows by-products of the timber veneer industry in a visually breath-taking amalgamation.

MARBLE CURVE

We cut the ‘Marble Curve’ bench out of a single block of grey Bardiglio marble.

Featuring a sinuous, wave-like form under the seat itself; highlighting the colour and texture of the marble with the gentlest of touches.

NOMAD - Abu Dhabi

I’m presenting a triptych of limited-edition works that distil two decades of exploring material intelligence, sustainable practice, and sculptural precision at NOMAD Abu Dhabi.
These pieces merge craft and technology, transforming reclaimed resources into quiet, sculptural forms that speak to a new kind of ecological luxury.
Presented in collaboration with MONA curator Oliver of Varenne Art Moderne & Contemporain and Knight Fine Art, the presentation fosters a cross-cultural dialogue between innovation and heritage.
As NOMAD opens its first Middle Eastern edition, this exhibition situates my practice within a global conversation where art, design, and architecture unite in pursuit of enduring beauty and responsibility.
