The wonderful thing about owning a long-arm quilting machine is that it allows me to finish the quilts that others have abandoned - which I would never have the time to do otherwise! And that is why there are so many unfinished quilt tops out there. A project is started with great enthusiasm, but time and life often get in the way and more urgent matters take priority. It is my pleasure here at Ti

me Machine Quilting to take up these projects where others have left off, and gently and sympathetically complete them so that they can be loved and used as intended. I therefore always have a selection of beautiful vintage quilts for sale. Sometimes I can't resist the urge to make a new quilt - especially when I see something technically challenging or unusual - I just have to have a go! This has resulted in me amassing quite a collection over the years, and in order to allow myself to continue making I also have to part with some. If you are a quilt-maker yourself and are looking for someone to finish your treasured project to a high standard, I offer a fast and reliable quilting service with a good choice of patterns to suit all tastes. If required I can provide backing and batting, although I am happy to work with fabrics you have supplied. Binding and hand finishing is also part of the service unless you prefer to do this yourself. Perhaps you have a particular idea in mind for a quilt you would like, but don't fancy making it yourself? Contact me to discuss your ideas and we can work something out on a commission basis - I have an extensive knowledge of both traditional and more modern designs to help make your ideas come to life. I'm having a clear out of my vintage patchwork pieces, I know I won't get round to finishing them, but maybe you would like one to brighten up your home.
All different colours, designs and sizes, all cheap, nothing over £30, you just need to buy backing (and wadding if you want it), I could even quilt it for you. They need a wash after finishing to freshen them up.
They really are charming, and I have sold many through my Etsy shop.
