SIPs Wales is a growing manufacturer specialising in SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) construction, the company now seeks a production operative to join their newly formed production team based in their factory in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire

A background in carpentry, joinery or wood machining will be highly advantageous, experience operating, rip saws, cross cut saws, and Spindle modular would also be desirable. will involve travel to clients location to erect buildings throughout south wales and include roofing and cladding.

Candidates must be able to read and confidently work to CAD drawings working to tight tolerances to produce a high-quality product. Also considered will be individuals who have undertaken self-build, large-scale DIY projects that could include house extensions, conservatories, workshops, etc. with a real aptitude for design and hands-on skills. Experience of quality inspection and a Counterbalance forklift license would be desirable but not essential.

The positions available will be full time (after 3-month probationary period)
Hourly rates offered dependent on skills sets and levels of experience.

This week sees the start of our business expansion with new office and workshop building, allowing us to manufacture garden rooms and offices from a dedicated workshop.
Great work by Jeff and the DAS construction team for their progress this week with the main steelwork already up.

This week we have been on the garden rooms for a client. Insulated timber floor and SIPs walls and roof all done in 2 days and left all wrapped up for the present weather until the clients door arrives next week.
We can supply and erect garden rooms from just the shell to full turnkey projects
