The Painted Spoon Transforming unloved furniture into bespoke pieces, ReUse, RePaint, ReLove. Welcome to the Painted Spoon. Some of it is a bit quirky and eclectic but unique.

My website will show my love of taking the unwanted, ugly, unusual but always interesting furnishing, and making them into something fresh & new! I specializes in custom painted pieces utilizing lots of different paint techniques to create the perfect look. Liking all things old, my home based in Eccleston Park, Prescot which dates back to 1863. My Georgian house is shared with my long suffering h

usband, fun loving son and foot biting dog. My three boys put up with a lot as they never know what I'm going to come home with next. Most of the action takes place in my workshop outback, where I like nothing better than playing good music and getting to grips on a new piece.

I wish I had a before and after shot of this great side board.
Let me just say, getting that worktop to a natural bleached white from dark muddy brown with layers of varnish, was not easy.
I think it looks stunning now but I’m biased.

Now this is a big job. May take me some timeI better get to it hey
