Lincoln Hackspace is a community-operated space where people can meet to learn, create, socialise and collaborate. We have common interests in woodwork, metalwork, computers, technology, science, digital or electronic art, textiles, 3D printing and

more. It is a space to pool ideas, equipment, knowledge and excitement; to tinker, explore and create. A place to make your own projects a reality or help others with theirs. Current members projects involve 3D printing, arduino, raspberry pie, textiles, digital photography, model making.... and more. Be a part of Lincoln's hacker/builder community where ideas are shared, innovation is fostered and the maker experience is hands-on. We run open evenings every Tuesday from 19:30-22:00 so come down and have a chat, we'd love to see you! Our address is:

Lincoln Hackspace is now closed for Christmas. We wish all members a joyous Christmas and a Happy and productive New Year!

Why not use your time productively and building or design something over the festive holidays?

The Hackspace will reopen on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at the usual time of 19:30.

This is the finished product, a cover to fit around a drain pipe going into a patio, stopping leaves getting in the drain. 3D printing is great, but even better if you can design a product too!😀

Happy New Year All!

Todays the day we open our doors once again! We meet every Tuesday from 19:30. We operate out of the Pelican Trust building located on Crofton Road Lincoln.

If you want to start making stuff but don't know how or where to start, come and have a chat and meet like minded makers with a diverse set of interests.

We have tools; a small CNC router, a couple of Laser cutters as well as lots of hand tools. You just bring your ideas!

1 more night of the Lincoln Hackspace for 2024! Our last open night is Tuesday 17th December. We then close over the Christmas period and reopen 7th Jan 19:30.

What projects have you been working on at home? Come on show us some pictures of your developing creations! It does not matter if its 3D printing, CAD design, software, Electronics, CNC work, wood work, metal work or anything else you have been creating, come on share your work with the group. One of our members got himself a 3D printer and wanted to try a Lithpane with it. The result is not too bad. All the colours come from the 4 filaments used (Cyan, magenta, yellow and white). Bambu labs sell a nice led light board to give the necessary background illumination too.

Our CNC router now has a shiny new collet holder fitted and we have metric and imperial collets covering bit shank sizes...

Our CNC router now has a shiny new collet holder fitted and we have metric and imperial collets covering bit shank sizes of 1/8, 1/4, & 1/2 inch and 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 & 12 mm metric. So no more broken collets when trying to mix metric shanks in an imperial collet! Thanks to Dave for the machining of the collet adapter.
