The Alfa Romeo Giulia SS, introduced in 1963, is a larger-engined evolution of the earlier Bertone-designed Giulietta SS, which drew inspiration from Alfa Romeo’s “Disco Volante” racers and the iconic “B.A.T.” concept cars. While specifications evolved over time, all Sprint Speciales adhered to the fundamental principle of using lightness and aerodynamic efficiency to maximize the performance of the familiar four-cylinder twin-cam Alfa Romeo engine. The name "special" truly fits this Alfa Romeo. With a production run of only 1,366 units, it is undeniably exclusive. The styling, crafted by renowned designer Franco Scaglione for Bertone, is considered an absolute masterpiece—worthy of an art museum but occasionally seen on the road. Remarkably, the aerodynamic body boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.28, a unique achievement at the time, and not surpassed for the next two decades.

This official UK-market car is one of only 25 right-hand-drive (RHD) models, making it one of the rarest and most desirable post-war Alfa Romeos. It came to us for custom wool carpets to enable more space in the cockpit with the finishing touch of our in house produced integrated branded heel mats. Truly, it is one of the most beautiful cars we have had the privilege to work with and a genuine head-turner.

For motorsport diehards, Group B remains rallying's finest hour; to others, it was an automotive hand gr***de with its pin rolling around in the footwell.

It lasted just four years and was arguably the most dangerous period in motorsport history

Group ‘B' regulations required the production of at least 200 road-legal vehicles, however the end of Group ‘B' meant that only 144 RS200s were completed

The cars are a snapshot of a time when technology moved faster than red tape, when safety took a back seat, and blind faith grabbed the wheel.

This RS200 along with most of its siblings has served a tough life and has been through the most thorough of resurrections. Exacting materials were sourced and where they could not be sourced they were created and assembled to create what has got to be one of the best examples of a car that takes a hefty set of gentlemans pendulums to tame.

The first AC (Auto Carriers LTD) sociable was a 20hp tricycle developed by the Weller brothers in 1903 as a touring model but was later reimagined as a goods carrying vehicle in 1904 to suit the needs of financial backer John Portwine and would remain a goods carrying vehicle until a passenger carrying version of the sociable was developed in 1907. It was at this time that the name was abbreviated to 'AC' using the Art Nouveau-style lettering forever associated with the marque. The timber-framed device was powered by a single-cylinder, 636cc, air-cooled engine mounted beneath the driver's seat and driving the rear wheel, via a two-speed epicyclic gearbox, by chain. Steering was by means of a tiller.
Reports of the AC Sociable reaching 48mph at Brooklands may seem unimpressive today but operating its incredibly sharp and precise tiller steering and sitting in a cabin built from materials reminiscent of my grandfather's toolbox brings a unique appreciation to the shear size of the undercrackers of the pilot.
This AC spent much of its life in a museum in Europe and, like many of the vehicles of this era had suffered from poor repair & maintenance. Since returning home to blightly a full restoration has been executed to impeccable standards. Springs, horsehair, wadding, old English waxed leather finished with a lead filled brass pin beade completes the restoration allowing us to swoop in and grab all the glory at the finish line.

Porsche released the 964 Turbo 3.6 (affectionately referred to as the 965) in January, 1993, now featuring a turbocharged version of the 3.6 litre M64 engine and producing 360 hp @ 5500 rpm.

The 3.6 litre powered Turbo was produced only for model year 1993/1994, with fewer than 1,500 of them produced in total making it one of the rarest and most sought after Porsche produced since the 959.

Only 42 rhd cars were sold in uk.
