An original ‘J16’ model rocking chair by Hans Wegner for FDB Mobler. This ‘Black Version’ is date stamped 1975. With its Shaker-inspired design with a tall spindle backrest, blade ice skater style runners and woven paper cord seat, it really is a lovely statement piece. This has been restored but retains the original paper cord.

This isn’t a pleasant image, so I do apologise. However, a dog owner has failed/not bothered to clear up their pet’s poo properly from right outside our shop. Not very kind or community spirited at all. Twenty minutes of scrubbing and a few buckets of water later and we have a gleaming threshold once again. A great start to the weekend and another example of the glamour of owning a shop!😂
