Every single one of these beauties has now SOLD!

📦 3 are heading off to Scotland
🏡 1 is Surrey-bound
✈️ 2 are taking a little pit stop in storage before starting their journey abroad to their new forever homes

We’re so grateful.

That said… it wouldn’t be a proper workshop week without a bit of drama 😅 One of our sanders has decided to call it quits, so it’s off to the menders 🤞 Fingers crossed for a speedy fix because we’ve still got work to do!

We’ve got a few more commission pieces to power through over the next couple of weeks, and once those are wrapped up, we’ll be diving back into creating new pieces ready for sale ✨

And exciting news… one commission is nearly complete 👀

Another commission complete. This piece has been a real challenge, but I'm thrilled with the result. I've had to pull out all the stops - literally, I needed a stool to reach the top once I'd fitted the dollie wheels. The finished piece is huge - 120cm high, 120cm wide and 55cm deep. When the components arrived, I was taken aback by their size. There were plenty of repairs needed due to their age, including fixing dents and reattaching loose handles. But after a lot of hard work, it's finally complete and will be off to Cheltenham next week.

Another piece completed and delivered today to its new own.. This 6’9″ teak sideboard makes a serene statement in blush....

This 6’9″ teak sideboard makes a serene statement in blush. Freshly painted in Farrow & Ball’s Porphyry Pink (a deep, muted rose), it blends mid-century charm with modern flair. Here is one of our lastest commission which Left us yesterday.
The tallboy and dressing table/desk have been painted painted in paint and paper library eggshell in the shade ruben and the bedsides in benjamin moore cappuccino eggshell , two different shades of pink but both lovely shades.

Definitely got to make use of that sun today. Because soon enough we will be sanding in gloves, wool hats and scarfs.

Following from our sneaky peak in Our stories. Our client contacted us after a certain design they had seen so we worked with her to get the finish she wanted. . We had never used the product before but we decided it's great to try new things so we took the job on and I think the outcome looks amazing.

For the floral design we used redesign prima fibre paper. It was definitely a learning curve. But we got there in the end..

We matched the design with dixie belle Yankee blue chalk paint and used some blending techniques to blend the fibre paper in.

It's been a while since we did one of these. Our customers contacted us wanting the same design as we have previously painted on the same piece a few years ago, but they wanted a different shade of blue. We decided to go with willowbank by fusion mineral paint, our previous one was painted in midnight blue both blues match well with the copper leaf and paint. But willowbank has a bit more pop to it's shade.

I think sometimes it's great to recreate pieces especially when you did them years ago as it gives you a chance to redo the photographs and make them more in date.

I definitely perfer the staging now on this one than I did on the other.
