🌍 From a bold idea to a global movement in coaching excellence…

Back in 1995, leaders in coach education gathered in Leeds with a shared vision: to create an international body that would elevate coaching worldwide. Just two years later, in 1997, the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) was officially established by representatives from 15 countries.

Today, ICCE spans more than 50 countries, bringing together a global community committed to developing coaches and advancing sport at every level.

With its Global Coaching Office based at Leeds Beckett University since 2011, ICCE continues to lead collaboration, research, and innovation in coaching development—helping millions of coaches empower athletes to achieve their potential.

💡 A reminder that when people come together around a shared purpose, they can shape systems, professions, and futures.
