On 18th June, the Crossroads sales team will be taking on a 26-mile hiking challenge through the Yorkshire Dales.

This is about more than just completing a physical challenge — it’s about shining a light on men’s mental health and helping to remove the stigma surrounding it. Because speaking up truly makes a difference.

Mortimers is an independent, family-run business based in Driffield, established in 1869. The company is involved in seed production, grain, and fertiliser, with over 150 years of experience across Yorkshire and the North East, it has earned a strong reputation for quality.

The Volvo FH Aero 500hp comes equipped with a liteweight axle on full air to enhance driveability, along with leather seats, rear lockers, cruise control, and Alcoa DuraBright wheels.

Two new additions have joined the fleet at John Petch Transport.

Supplied by Elliott Rogan from our Used Truck Centre, these two Volvo FH 500s come equipped with a Liteweight axle, single line hydraulics, air horns, dirt deflectors, alloy wheels, a Kelsa grille bar, Kelsa LoBar, plus a range of driver comforts including a microwave, fridge, and single bunk.

The Volvo FH Aero comes fully loaded with specification, featuring our 500hp Turbo Compound engine, Volvo engine brake, fuel package, DuraBrights, and CMS system. Inside, it’s designed for ultimate driver comfort, including the Drive Extended package, sleep and rest package, leather upholstery, premium comfort driver’s seat, sleeper control panel, plus onboard coffee maker, fridge, and microwave—creating a true home-from-home environment for the driver. Brocklebank Demolition has welcomed two new additions to its fleet.

With nearly 80 years of family ownership, the business started in demolition and has grown into a provider of haulage services, construction waste transport, and premium washed and recycled aggregates - delivering dependable service across the region.
