Commissioned details…

May has been spent painting late into the night working on multiple pieces for a recent commission. This rather lovely double wardrobe hand painted to replicate the ‘Big Top’ design by Linwood has been a joy to paint. Can’t wait to see in situ.

Back in the workshop this week adapting my celestial design on a larger piece. Birdsong and coffee essential.

Celestial details…

Sharing a recent commission for a lovely returning client incorporating the moons phases. A treasured cabinet given some celestial details in navy and silvery grey tones.

Featured….

Had the honour of welcoming Country Living into the workshop recently. We filmed a step by step tutorial on how to paint a decorative tray, a lovely mini project for a weekend of creativity.

The workshop has been filled with birdsong, sunshine and summertime florals recently. I’m here for it.

I opted for a hand painted wrap around summertime floral design on these rather lovely classic vintage drawers in pinks, blues and olive green tones.

Tropical details….

Sharing a recent commission that had me reaching for hot pink and bright orange tones. A ray of sunshine in amongst the last stretch of winter. Such a joy to paint 🎨

Bluebells for days and days…..

Painting time recently has involved painting bluebells and starbursts on repeat. Eagerly awaiting the return of these magical flowers marking the ending a long winter. Think this might be a case of dopamine decor in action. I’m here for it!

Working on a rather lovely oak sideboard today. I’ve got a idea for a new design that I’m eager to create. Not a bad way to spend my Sunday. Speak soon, H x

Latest commission leaving the dell…..

Hand painted to order. Greek blue folky florals adding a sprinkle of dopamine decor against a very grey January. Welcoming February with open arms as the light returns slowly and the snowdrops spark joy.
