Celebrating one year of our Knutsford showroom 🤍

Our Interior Design Expert Reena Simon shares her thoughts on our new Contemporary Classics.

“Dining tables shape the atmosphere of a home more than almost any other piece of furniture. The Halford Walnut collection from , designed by Scandinavian designer Morten Georgsen, is a beautiful example of contemporary design that still feels timeless.

Walnut is one of my favourite woods to work with because it brings so much warmth and depth to a space. Unlike lighter timbers, it absorbs light, creating a richer and more intimate atmosphere, particularly in the evening.

I like pairing walnut with softer natural materials such as linen, ceramics and candlelight. The contrast helps balance the richness of the timber while keeping the room feeling relaxed and welcoming.

Within The Intentional Home®️, I often come back to the idea that our homes should hold our rituals, not just our things. For me, the dining table is one of the clearest examples of this. It’s where we gather, celebrate, work, talk and share everyday life.” -
