Flash pirate wood butcher I am a small family business which uses traditional methods to transform wood and metal into bespoke items at reasonable costs for individual clients.

its simple , modern furniture is sh*te , its cheap materials sold at a vastly inflated price . most of today furniture is made from the waste wood companies discard , they grind it up and compress it with glue and becomes chip board then a plastic coating is applied to make it look shiny or like real wood but there is no strength in it, its made in factories and the finnished product has to be sto

red ( flat pack)so instead of it being designed to do the job required its designed to be stored ....no wonder it doesnt last . everything i make is made to order, to what you want not what the shop has its made of real wood, its has proper fixing, it has real joints that have worked for centuries and its certainly cheaper than a shop . but if you wonder is it better ask how long a warranty the shop will give you ....all my interior funrniture has a no quibble lifetime warranty
