Another successful year at Canning coaching - Girls Academy. We pride ourselves in offering the best opportunities for girls whilst also ensuring all girls can have the opportunity to develop.

For many families, football at the lowest level is already a big investment, for some doing extra is very difficult. Because of that we have kept training fees as low as £5 weekly (half of what was recommended) and will continue to keep training fees at the same rate as before.

Despite the low training fees players get access to

- Professional coaching from UEFA licensed head coaches working in the academy system and also top young players at clubs such as rangers
- great facilities with our fife girls based on the Astro at Micheal woods and our Dundee girls at the change centre
- elite curriculum, with a structured long term development plan
- multiple groups to suit multiple levels and develop ages and stages

We have also been able to provide extra opportunities for players without high costs
- multiple trips, tournaments and games outwith Scotland
- playing regularly Futsal in the winter through the boys Escocia leagues
- playing against nxtgen academies and national teams such as Australia, USA, Northern Ireland

These opportunities not only allow our girls to showcase their talents at the highest level and develop themselves in football but is crucial for developing life long skills in and outwith football.

Whilst some of our players have progressed into professional women’s football and that is our goal but never a guarantee for all players. What we does happen for all players is
- new friendships and stronger bonds
- lifelong memories and unique experiences
- understanding of importance of high standards and work ethic in all they do
- resilience and character building
- independence (living away from parents on trial or taking individual responsibility for their development)

Whilst the opportunities our players get seem like just a normal thing for us now. We could not do it without external funding.

Through fundraisers and sponsorship we have a model that offers girls the best development opportunities without pricing girls out of these experiences.

Thanks to Whyte plumbing & heating ltd our main sponsors, our girls leave this year with amazing memories, growth on and off the pitch/court without the additional stress of funding these things.

We are extremely pleased to announce that Whyte plumbing & heating ltd will be our main performance academy sponsor for the rest of 2025 and the full of 2026

Next month alone our u13s and u15s will
- play against Australia national futsal again
- play against top nxtgen academies
- spent a weekend down south in Bradford for an international tournament

Sponsorships will not only go towards funding kits for our players but funding additional opportunities.

These experiences are vital for achieving our aims in football of

Performance: allows us to compete against the best opposition from around the world in a variety of different formats

Participation: allows us to propose the female game to a wider audience for girls to see the opportunities football can offer them

Perception: taking part in different opportunity allows us to really channel the perception of female football and Scottish football.

Pathways: with the launch of our u19s programs we can internally offer our girls a pathway to continue developing with us as well as support their next steps away from us in further education, coaching or professional football

Kitchen install done before Xmas
Turned this from two separate rooms into a large kitchen /dinning

Kitchen was Fully plastered

new coving

Re wired and new led spotlights

New flooring,facings and skirtings

New oak doors fitted

All done within 2 weeks 😀
