Dispatch Operatives
Concept Sliding Solutions Ltd – Hull, East Yorkshire
Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week
Salary: TBC – Dependent on Experience
About the Role
Due to continued growth and investment within Concept Sliding Solutions, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Dispatch Operatives to join our expanding manufacturing team in Hull.
Concept Sliding Solutions manufactures and supplies a wide range of products including kitchens, fitted bedrooms, sliding and hinged wardrobes, media walls, cut & edge components and bespoke furniture products to customers throughout the UK.
The Dispatch department plays a vital role in ensuring completed customer orders are checked, protected, organised and loaded correctly, ready for delivery to site or collection.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of ensuring every order leaves our factory complete, damage-free and correctly identified.
Main Responsibilities:
• Pick and prepare completed customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Check products against paperwork, picking lists and delivery documentation.
• Ensure orders are complete and correct before being released for delivery.
• Inspect products for any visible damage or quality issues before dispatch.
• Safely wrap, protect and package finished products.
• Label and organise orders clearly within designated dispatch areas.
• Load company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure products are loaded in the correct sequence for delivery routes.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading where required.
• Liaise with Production, Quality Control and Transport teams regarding completed and outstanding orders.
• Report shortages, damaged products or discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain accurate dispatch paperwork and documentation.
• Keep the dispatch and loading areas clean, organised and free from unnecessary clutter.
• Ensure completed orders are stored safely to prevent damage.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse and factory duties when required.

• Capable of working within a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling furniture components and manufactured products safely.
• Confident checking quantities, product references and paperwork.
• Able to identify potential quality or damage issues before products leave the factory.
• A good communicator who can work closely with Production, Transport and Quality Control.
• Positive and willing to help wherever required.
• Committed to maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
• Valid UK driving Licence
• Forklift Licence
Previous experience within dispatch, warehousing, manufacturing, furniture production or logistics would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
