MINIMUM ‘mobile’ welding price is £50, and typical local rates for sizeable welding jobs are: £100 for a half day, and £200 for a full day (which includes argon gas and consumables).
There is a surcharge if the large 16 stone generator is required, or the job distance is beyond 10 miles.
Any steel required for a bespoke fabrication should be provided by the client and can be acquired from Michael Barugh - English St (min 6 meter lengths cut to size) Tel: 01482/381890.
Or smaller lengths from B+Q - St Andrews Quay.
So please be realistic before enquiring.
Small handleable items can be dropped off, welded and collected from my Cottingham address at a reduced price (Min £30).
