Last week finished with replacing the stem and double wrapped bar tape on a 1980's Holdsworth Competition road bike. New owner couldn't get his hands around the girth (Stop sniggering at the back! 😂) of the bar so we went for a more sympathetic bar tape along with a shorter quill stem.
This week started with replacement of a worn out chain and cassette on a 2020 Cannondale Topstone. I have the same model but I've long since upgraded from Microshift Advent X 10 speed to Shimano GRX hydraulic 11 speed. The customer asked for prices to do the same but preferred to stick with the original components as this is his daily commuter in all weathers.

Great week supporting the NatWest Baton Relay 2025 on week 2 of their rides from Camden Town to Bangor via Swindon, Gloucester, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Llanelli, Wrexham, Rhyl and Llandudno. Seriously rainy day on the leg from Cardiff to Llanelli but overall the weather was kind. Chapeau! To all those who completed their rides.
