Why not get in touch and see what we can do for you! The Wade Centre, formerly The Wade Infants School, was redeveloped by St Thomas’ Church during 2012–13. The project cost close to half a million pounds, and was funded mainly by Church members’ generosity and St Thomas’ Nursery, who developed some of The Wade Centre rooms into new nursery accommodation. Some of the renovated rooms at The Wade Ce
ntre are now available for the community to hire for functions and receptions. The hall can seat up to 100 people, and we have 100 chairs and 18 (6 ft by 2.5 ft) tables that can be configured in a variety of ways to suit your occasion. The hall is equipped with modern lighting that can be dimmed, and a PA system (complete with two hand-held radio microphones) that is suitable for giving speeches or playing background music can also be hired. The hall has a fully equipped catering kitchen, with a large oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and commercial dishwasher. There are also two side rooms that can be divided or opened to give one larger room.
