Haven't done a Work-In-Progress post in ages. But here's the current design project. This has been on the to-do list for about 4 years. A slide out bed with a rear slide out drawer for cooking. Both sections of the bed will have top access. The slide out shelf will be on heavy duty runners and have a storage box for plates, utensils and whatnot. The prototype will be 1800mm long and built in our Steeton workshop and will be available to buy fully built. Will post pictures of the finished bed here.

Easter is coming and looking out the window it definitely feels like the weather is improving. We started experimenting with hexaboard. It's a pretty good material. Feel robust. We've combined it with our standard ply to create a new style of sliding bed, which is available here: https://camitdesign.com/hexaboard-sliding-bed-bed-101/ The one featured below is a 1900mm version and is available for sale if anyone wants to collect from our Steeton workshop.
