Resuzed is the place where I can indulge my passion and interest in all things recycled and upcycled. Most will know that I am a hoarder of things - and I do try to make it things that will genuinely come in useful. But now I have passed the magic 50 year milestone, it’s time that I started making use of things, rather than keeping them ‘for later’. I also feel strongly that we are turning into a throwaway society and that there is need for genuine, practical help (as well as inspiration) for ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. So I have created this page to inspire with the things that I have done (hence Re-Suz(anne)ed!), share truly useful and inspirational ideas, try out ideas, and offer practical tips. I have found that there are a lot of ideas out there which are for things you just don’t want or need, or require you to employ a professional craftsman to achieve the look, so as well as showcasing more fabulous work, I want to also include ideas that you can apply in real life, without needing highly technical skills. Having studied Graphic Design and Creative Embroidery, textiles and paper will be a main focus - with painting and minor woodworking also a possibility! and who knows what knew things I can learn on the way...
