Reclaimers volunteer session at Wirral Environmental Network every Tuesday 10-12. One chair rescued per session. Each with a different flora/fauna theme. Five completed....lots in the waiting room! 😱😆 (pre makeover pics at the end). If you have a couple of spare hours come and join us.
The Centre was buzzing on Tues with happy folk prepping for the fair this Sat. Sooo many beautiful plants, handmade crafts, rescued furniture and lots more 🤗🌿🌹🐝🌎♻️💚

🛠️ FREE Re-Furnish Furniture Workshop:
Furniture Repair Clinic and Quick Fix Drop-in

Saturday 7th March, 10am - 12.30pm

Wirral Environmental Network, Sandon Building, Falkland Road, Wallasey, CH44 8ER

Don't miss the third and final workshop with Katrina from Urban Vintage and Karen from Re-jiggery!

This session will be a furniture repair clinic - bring along an item of furniture that needs fixing and Karen and Katrina will show you how to do it. You will be guided through the process and taught some quick fix skills so that you can complete the repair yourself. You can get advice on repairs too so that you can work on a project at home.

You can also watch demonstrations and learn how to:

- Remove old screws and fit hinges and brackets.
- Glue and clamp parts together and fill holes and cracks.
- Cover damage with mouldings and clays, and replace veneers.
- Fix and create trims, apply decorative studs, replace buttons, plump cushions and use different stitch techniques.
- Find creative alternative uses for furniture.
