BACK TO BLACK

For this stunningly stylish black, glass cabinet, with a 1950s vibe, by Michelle at Michelle Aston Designs we've paired it with the classic "Old Fashioned" cocktail.

The Old Fashioned cocktail has a long history and as is as popular now as it was during the 1950s, making it the perfect choice.

Recipe:
2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
1 sugar cube or 1/2 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Orange peel and a cocktail cherry for garnish

Instructions:
In a glass, muddle the sugar cube with bitters and a few drops of water.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Pour the whiskey over the ice and stir.
Express the orange peel over the glass by holding it over the drink and giving it a quick twist to release the oils.
Garnish with the orange peel and a cocktail cherry.
