This week we completed a substation small power and lighting project at The Old Vinyl Factory, a development of 650 new homes, including a cinema, academy, and pioneering research and design hub – in both new and rejuvenated existing buildings. The site previously owned by EMI sold Gramophones and disks made in the US. In 1952, EMI began the production of "microgroove" records, made of vinyl rather than the shellac-based compound used for earlier records. Artists of the time – including the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Cliff Richard and Pink Floyd had their vinyl records produced on the site. We love a bit of history at Zero. We are pleased as punch to have completed this office fit out today for a new client in the City of London. Relocation of existing lighting and floor boxes. Installation of new floor boxes, media walls and kitchen breakout area. New data network including comms cabinet, data racks and patch panels.
