Update on Showroom Closing Down Sale

Hi to everyone, just a quick update we still have a few sofas, chairs, footstools, scatter cushion bundles, and fabric remnants to clear.

The sofas and chairs are all made with solid hardwood frames, serpentine springs in the seat and include a fully sprung front edge. This quality of sofas and chairs cannot be found anywhere at our give away prices. Come on down to our showroom today to find your sofa and chair.

Easter Opening, we are opening our showroom on Good Friday and Easter Saturday from 10.00am to 4.00pm. We are closed on Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.

Normal opening will resume on Tuesday 7th April 2026.

We still have some beautiful sofas and chairs on offer, make sure you don't miss out on the chance to own a handcrafted made to last sofa or chair. Hi to everyone, we are now moving swiftly towards the end of our time at Riverside Business Centre. Our remaining staff will be leaving us in the next couple of weeks, and that means we have only a short time left to clear the remaining sofas, and chairs that will need to be delivered.

WE ARE RETIRING!

We have decided after working for over 40 years manufacturing sofas and chairs to retire, and take some time for ourselves.

We are therefore no longer taking any new orders, and we are opening our showroom up for a complete RETIREMENT CLEARENCE SALE up to 75% off. Everything must go sofas, chairs, corner sofas, tables, rugs, and artwork.

The Clearance Sale will begin on Friday 16th January 2026 at 10.00am on a “first come first serve” basis.

ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY ?

Our sofas get a lot of use, especially during the winter months when we are spending more time in doors sitting in our sofa. It is worth remembering that the seat and back cushion interiors will over time flatten, and the sofa will become uncomfortable because the cushions no longer give the support they once used to.

After a few years of use the sofa frame, springing, and fabric will still be in good condition, but the seat and back cushions will probably need replacing. At TailorMade Sofas we have a replacement cushion service. We can arrange for new cushion interiors to replace old and worn out ones giving your sofa a new lease of life.

We have a choice of high quality foam, soft, medium, or firm density, or if you are looking for something less formal then why not try our soft fill options, “Quallofill” fibre, or feather.

Most manufacturers’ loose seat and back cushion interiors can be replaced.
