Slightly different restoration job this week. 8'6" Lister teak garden bench needing repair. Loose joints, broken tenons. Taken apart and rebuilt with extra beech dowels for added support. Hopefully it will survive a few years longer now.

Unusual Late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian Art Nouveau antique solid oak revolving hallstand. Four section stick or umbrella stand with four tin trays. Eight double cast iron hooks. Solid oak uprights and cross members. Unusual freestanding hallstand, with revolving base and original fittings. This hallstand has been restored in our workshop and is ready to be placed at home.

Now for sale. 19th Century (c.1840) Antique mahogany writing table attributed to Gillows. Inset leather top, above two mahogany lined frieze drawers, flanked by two dummy drawers at the rear, original turned k***s, moulded corners all standing on tapering turned and fluted legs. terminating with original brass cope patent castors. This table can free-stand and is excellent home ready condition.

Victora baths Manchester. Giant Sun, gong bath and fantastic architecture!
Had to share this and show some if the great Art Nouveau influences at the baths. Good to see the building still being used, and not left to rack and ruin.
Helios is at the baths until 6th April. Go check it out!
