🌿 What a Fantastic Day at Hemsworth Community Group School Holiday Fun Club ! 🐞

Yesterday we had a wonderful session at our School Holiday Fun Club, held at the SACK Community Allotment.

The children had a brilliant time making their own bug hotels, heading off on a bug hunt, and enjoying the outdoors. We also had a lovely surprise when Jo Parkin came along to do some fantastic face painting, which was a huge hit with the children. Thank you, Jo – it was very much appreciated!

A big thank you also goes to Dean and the team at the SACK Community Allotment for allowing us to use the allotment and for supporting the event.

The fun doesn’t stop there! We still have three more sessions at the allotment and four more at the Community Centre during the school holidays.

A massive thank you to Wates Group for constructing our fruit cage. It was their first time yesterday and they loved it!
2 of them did an extra couple of hours!
Also many thanks to Vico, Wakefield Council, Prism Medical and not forgetting the shed building dream team Daz Darley and Shoggy!
