Since 1989 we have provided a comprehensive range of services focused at meeting the needs of both knowledgeable and selective customers. These have included;
Bringing reliable, fully serviced and warrantied pieces to the market, i.e. date lined fairs. Servicing and Restoring antique clocks and small furniture. Drafting “Valuation Certificates” for insurance and probate. Commissions to complete
surveys of antique collections. Audits to assess damage on clocks for insurance claims. Acquisition of items to specific customer requirements. We are focused at providing a personal service and therefore attend a number of antique fairs through the year where you can view our stock and discuss any queries. A list of the venues we will be attending and a summary of the items for sale can be sent to you. Clocks sold by us are covered by a six or twelve month support warranty. We repair/service timepieces and clocks ranging from Carriage clocks to Bracket clocks, Wall clocks to Longcase clocks and Pocket watches to Wrist watches. With the exemption of Grandfather clocks we retail the same items. All our work carries a support warranty of either six or twelve months. All small items in need of repair can either be deposited with us at our premises, at a fair we are attending or arranged to be collected direct from your home. Longcase and Vienna’s are collected from the owner’s residence and taken directly to our workshop. Where appropriate the clocks would be installed and set-up at the owners residence. Valuations. For any item whose value exceeds £1.000.00p it is advisable to check with your insurer that cover is available without that item being separately identified on the relevant policy. Where it is necessary to specifically identify an item and its value we are able to raise certificates which are recognised by insurers at a nominal fee. Surveys and Audits. We undertake individual commissions to complete an assessment of the value of item[s] for both commercial companies and private owners. These assessments can be required for insurance claims, multiple insurance cover, pre-sale value and assessment of auction sale value. These projects are individually quoted for. Customer Requirement Searches. We undertake searches for specified items using our network of trade contacts and auction rooms
