In this York home, a spacious extension gave us room for a large, sociable kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling cabinets run along one wall, home to a pantry, plenty of storage, and open shelving.⁠

Designed to be a feature of this home, this bespoke staircase flows seamlessly into the open-plan kitchen.⁠
⁠
With clean lines and a simple form, the birch plywood staircase is finished in oak veneer, adding warmth and texture. Light filters through the cantilevered design leading to the first floor, while a slatted partition marks the end of the staircase with subtle style.⁠

We’ve made many staircases over the years and always enjoy creating them - whether as a standalone piece or as part of a wider kitchen project.⁠

A peek inside the workshop this week…⁠

We’ve got a mix of projects on the go - bespoke bedside tables, a retro brown Valchromat kitchen (a first for us in this colour and we are so pleased with how it's looking!), and a vibrant kitchen finished in blue, white, and yellow laminate.⁠

Every piece we make is designed and built right here in Hebden Bridge by our local team - from kitchens to one-off pieces of furniture - for clients across the UK (and sometimes beyond!).⁠
