EXPERIENCED UPHOLSTERY SEWING MACHINIST

Pay: Between £12.71 - £14.50 per hour
(Tiered structure depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:

Vale Bridgecraft Ltd has proudly supplied high-quality upholstery across the UK since 1949. With over 75 years of craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join our friendly and dedicated production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected British manufacturer known for quality, reliability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Sewing upholstery covers to a high standard of quality
Working from patterns and technical drawings
Operating industrial sewing machines efficiently and safely
Maintaining high productivity levels while ensuring accuracy
Conducting quality checks on completed work
Working as part of a team within a busy production environment
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in upholstery sewing (essential)
Experience using industrial sewing machines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet productivity targets
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
A positive attitude and team-focused approach
