I am an upholsterer trading as Moorland Upholstery. Moorland Upholstery offers:
- original, upholstered furniture inspired by local moorlands
- a reupholstery service, understanding the customer's aspirations for their furniture and providing support on style, colour and fabric type as required
- cushions e.g. replacement sofa cushions, throw cushions, bench seating

d handcrafted in my workshop. The Moors
I love the moorlands; their colours, textures, wildlife, not to mention their carbon sink, planet saving qualities. To me, the moors have a wild brilliance and a personality of their own. Each season brings something different whether that’s the storm clouds, bogs and barren looking landscape, or the bustling wildlife and new colours that come with Summer. I was so inspired that I started creating furniture that captured this brilliance. From herringbone patterns that replicate heather leaves, lime green colours of the sphagnum moss, the deep blue mirrored tarns that spot the moors, or the dark, complex browns of the peat; each piece has a story and inspiration of its own. Each piece is designed and handcrafted in my workshop with lots of love and joy; many use 100% wool sourced from local producers. So, I hope you love what you see, and can share in my love for the moors, whether that’s cosied up in an armchair, putting your feet up on a footstool, or serving tea and cake from a larger stool in front of the fire.
