Latest customer commission. Beautiful solid burr wood coffee table.

Client wanted the base painting to match her new decor in Farrow and Ball Off White and her new dark wood furniture.

We took the original orangey varnish back down to the natural wood then used a dark stain and finished with a dark wax.

It now looks contemporary whilst still keeping it's character and beautiful patina.

Boho chic - This solid oak cabinet has been stripped back to its original gorgeous wood and has been oiled and waxed to maximise its stunning patina.
The sides and interior have been painted in and finished with a mandala and lotus flower mandala design in drop cloth and copper leaf.
The cabinet has been finished with antique copper hairpin legs and a fab colour-changing interior light (see video for the light in action)
This cabinet has been a real labour of love and I'm so happy with the result. I just wish we had the right space for it!

We've just picked up these stunning slabs. The two left hand pieces are Beech and on the right are Almond.... In front is a Bobby .... These slabs have been air dried for over 20 years and are now ready to be made into beautiful tables.

This vintage beauty is back up for sale after the move. She's based on a book I that I was reading whilst designing this piece. by ... A fantastic book which I'd totally recommend. She definitely reminds me so much of those amazing Bletchley Park women. Intelligent, bookish but still beautiful and femine.

Our Story

I have been painting furniture for over 10 years. I started in a small studio, then opened my own shop in 2013 in Malton, North Yorkshire. A couple of years ago I took over the management of a large Antique Shop and Fine Art Gallery, and worked out of there whilst learning more about Antique furniture.

My partner and I have recently relocated to the South of England for his work so I am re establishing my business here in the little village of Edlesborough, near Dunstable.

I paint bespoke one-off pieces of furniture. I take commissions for any piece of furniture painted in any style. I’ve painted plant pots to pianos, so nothing is too big or small. Please contact me for more information.
