GS_Hastings Changing Places and Changing Lives in Hastings - One Green Step at a Time

A fantastic project has been set up to enable young people to learn new skills in woodwork and conservation, gain personal motivation and learn transferable skills to enhance their employability. Local trainees and volunteers have been working with Hastings own specialist boat builder and the fishermen to restore three decommissioned fishing vessels dating back as far as 1956 to be conserved and t

ransformed into educational attractions. The project is managed by environmental charity Groundwork and supported through the Hastings Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) and by Hastings Fishermen’s Protection Society. If you are interested in taking part or would like some more details contact Fran on 07710 389200 or email [email protected]
