The Johnson Bespoke team is made up of skilled craftsmen and designers from a variety of backgrounds. Our goal is to produce tailor made spaces and furniture with character and charm. Having this unique mix of craftsmen means that every aspect of any project is covered, and every piece of furniture, every shelf and every fitting will either be hand made to order, or carefully selected from our ran

ge of reclaimed materials, architectural salvage and hand crafted products. Based in East Sussex, Johnson Bespoke can cater for projects nationwide and across Western Europe. Every project is different, and we offer a range of services, from concept to completion, project management, full fit and installation, design of point of sale, fixtures and fittings. We tailor every project individually to each client and dedicate all of our resources to completing the project, however big or small, in the available time-frame.

Samples are an essential part of our process.

Often we produce elements for client sign-off prior to manufacture, to the same standard and using the same finishes at the proposed designs, usually in smaller sections - but sometimes full size.

It’s important to see materials and finishes in the flesh, manipulated into the required forms, to understand how they interact with each other and the space they have been designed for.

Part of the reason we do everything in house; from processing sawn timber, right through to veneering and upholstery, is to ensure control and quality at every stage.
