Batheaston Bespoke Furniture Hand crafted Windsor chairs, tables and cabinets made in Oak & Ash. A family business since 1955. Our Yorkshire Dales showroom is open by appointment.

Our furniture production begins right back at the source with the tree; carefully selected and hand crafted from start to finish. Choose from a range of designs both traditional and contemporary, choose your level of distressing and antiquing and we will make it for you. At Batheaston we use traditional methods handed down from father to son for over 60 years. We carefully hand pick our English Oak and Ash to create furniture to last you a lifetime.

So it takes 8 minutes 34 seconds to distress a Large Wheel back sidechair (cut down to 2.10 so you don't get bored 🤣) - who knew. I've found it helps to speed you up and keep some kind of beat if you're listening to Swedish Melodic Death Metal 🎧 but Circles by would probably be better - the amount of times I go around that chair!
