Hearing loss and deafness is a non-visible disability and it affects 12 million people in the UK.

It can occur at birth or be acquired. For a person who is deaf or hard of hearing, being able to hear when people are approaching or speaking, particularly in public spaces is severely hampered if not impossible.

If someone is wearing Please give me space is may be because they are deaf or have hearing loss, please be considerate.

The Living with Covid Plan

The key dates for the UK nations have now been laid out.

But regardless of the dates the fact is that the rules are being removed. For many people that will cause anxiety. The Please give me space wearables can be worn by anyone that wants to communicate to others that they would like to maintain space from them.

Ideal for people with sight loss, anxiety and we know that people on the autistic spectrum have also found wearing it beneficial.

NHS waiting list backlog will take years to clear the Health Secretary Sajid Javid has said. But he warned the waiting list for non-urgent hospital treatment - currently at six million people - will not start falling for two years as demand looks set to rise now Covid pressure is easing.

Mr Javid set out a new 28-day target for cancer diagnosis from March 2024.

Is this paving the way for private firms to move in, what do you think?

Please give me space.

“Please give me space.” is part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme.

Anyone can wear the “Please give me space design”, it aims to help to reduce anxiety for people who have a reason to maintain social distance and for those who find it difficult.

This sign has been designed and introduced in a collaboration with The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme, The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and the UK Governments cabinet office. People can wear it when they go out to signal to others around them that they need to pay attention and give the wearer space.

It is a yellow circle with a person in the centre, with two arrows pointing out either side to indicate space.
