Just finished up this pretty little unit. I got her from a house clearance and she was spotted by the buyers of my last piece and commissioned to be painted to match. They have been waiting very patiently but here she finally is, all fresh in her new colour of Damask by Fusion Mineral Paint, with pretty gold handles.

I am so excited to have finally finished this petite bureau. Hand painted in Fusion Mineral Paints, Damask paired with bare wood and antique gold hardware, she has come up lovely. Wallpaper details have been added to the interior and the whole piece has been waxed to finish.

Been struggling to find time to paint of late, with more hours at work and a busy family, my hobby has taken a bit of a back seat but here I finally have my first piece of 2024! This gorgeous cabinet is solid and in very good order, with original glass shelves and panels, standing on pretty ball and claw feet and has been refinished in this warm charcoal grey called Ash by Fusion Mineral Paint. The interior back panel has been papered with this elegant wallpaper design from Homebase. Christmas Craft jars ready for the boys to give to their teachers tomorrow. We saved up our jars over the last month or so then decoupaged these Christmas napkins on then added some twine and wooden stars before adding flowers to finish them off x

Just delivered this set of drawers back to his owners ready for his new life.
They found him on the roadside in a sorry old state, with broken legs, water damage as well heavily chipped woodwork. They brought him to me to have him refinished to match other pieces of furniture I have done for them before, painted in Antique White by distressed and waxed to finish. The original hardware was given a thorough clean and was then reused and this gorgeous solid piece has now been saved from landfill and is going to spend many more years in his new home.

This commission piece has just arrived!
A lovely returning customer saved this set of drawers from the roadside and has asked for this to be fixed up and painted to match some previous pieces I have done for them in a distressed white finish. Apart from the obvious damage they’re a really lovely, well built set of drawers. Keep your eyes peeled for its transformation x

Well today my plans got cancelled so I decided to paint my front door, as you do!
It was in need of a refresh and I thought I might as well go for a complete new look and handily I had some leftover paint from a previous project in my favourite colour, so with lots of cleaning and 3 coats of paint I now have a fresh, new front door x (apologies for the poor photo’s, if I had panned out any wider all you would see is a whole lots of mess!)

How gorgeous is this tall vintage printers tray? I am still trying to find somewhere in my house to maybe keep it myself as I really love it!
This would be so lovely fastened to a wall or stood up on a cabinet or shelf, perfect for displaying those tiny treasures that we collect as we go through life such as shells, crystals, thimbles and so on

It feels like an age since I last posted but here I finally have another finished piece.
This pretty writing table and stool is a lovely little set that I originally painted years ago in a pale pink and it was snapped up by my neighbour. When her young daughter grew out of it she kindly returned it to me, well loved and in need of a fresh new look. So, here it is now in this soft minty green called Little Speckled Frog by Fusion with petite ceramic handles and this plush new fabric.
