The first burr elm lamp I’ve ever done.between wiring a lamp myself and sustains many injuries during making sure the buyers weren’t too sharp it was a pleasure,this lamp is now on its way to Inverness to a very special home.I am happy to do commissions as this one was and have a lot of wood to play with so message me for anything you wish out of wood to come to fruition ###

This was made for a lovely lady who had seen something similar in a magazine so her husband came to me to see if I could do something unique but in the spirit of the one she had seen, needless to say she was delighted with it, this is hawthorn with burr elm rounds for the shelves. It's so nice to see pictures of them in their new homes

This started off as a bit of hawthorn hedge and a slab of sycamore, all hand finished, waxed and polished to make a beautiful table for a lovely customer. By far the biggest piece I have ever made! So happy with how it turned out and to see it all comfy in its new home
