One of my favourite and most understated corners from all my projects — quietly elegant, deeply rooted in tradition.
At first glance, it’s just a simple corner section. But within less than half a metre square, this little corner carries an immense amount of craftsmanship: a solid oak raised and fielded door set within a c**k bead face frame, a bespoke radiator cover featuring a beautiful hand made Regency grille from a hand burnished oiled finish and a solid oak worktop that wraps seamlessly around three out-of-square walls and flows through into a diamond leaded window reveal.
All made using traditional materials and time-honoured techniques that have been passed down for thousands of years. It’s just one small section of a walk-in wardrobe, but for me, it’s a quiet and respectful nod to the heritage of our craft.

We had the pleasure of designing and building this bespoke bench seat, perfectly tailored to fit the stunning sunroom that floods with golden light on summer evenings. Built with both comfort and elegance in mind, this custom bench offers the ideal spot to unwind, recharge, and soak up the sunshine — whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee or a well-earned glass of something chilled at the end of the week.

We recently completed the manufacture and installation of a truly unique staircase feature — a solid carved oak handrail paired with solid patinated brass spindles.
This project was all about precision, collaboration, and craftsmanship. To achieve a continuous flowing handrail without any conventional newel posts, we worked closely with a structural engineer to develop a bespoke solution. Together, we designed and fabricated three custom brass-clad steel blade posts, each engineered to bolt securely into the structural timbers beneath the floor.
These discreet, elegant posts provide all the necessary strength and stability while maintaining the visual purity of the sweeping oak rail. The result is a seamless, sculptural form that feels both contemporary and timeless.
This was a challenging but deeply rewarding commission — the kind of detail-rich project we love to bring to life.

Crafted with care using traditional heritage techniques and English oak, every detail was designed to complement the church’s 778 year old historic interior — from the gothic paneling to the soft, natural finish that honours its sacred surroundings.

We handcrafted, and installed this beautiful bespoke bootroom for a lovely home in Esher — just in time for muddy shoes, soggy coats, and all the unpredictable weather ahead.
