First Move Furnishaid We were a charity in Great Yarmouth who has now closedown and wish to thank all those that have help over the past 35years.

We are a Great Yarmouth charity who redistributes furniture and white goods to needy families in the local area at affordable prices. By donating reusable furniture and white goods to Furnishaid, you can help people to set up their homes. We also reduce waste by dismantling and recycling goods which would otherwise be sent to landfill sites. First Move Furnishaid Ltd is unable to accept goods that

do not comply with current Health and Safety Legislation. We also Produce CV's
To teach basic IT Skills
Food hygiene
Bus passes for concessions
Room hire of office space
Resell furniture and goods at low prices

It is with great sadness that we announce the immediate closure of First Move Furnishaid Charity.

We want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us over the past 36 years. The generosity of our donors and the support of the community have been vital to our work and we are deeply thankful for all you have done.
A big thankyou also to staff and volunteers past and present.

A big thanks to everyone involved in the Golden Pies Club which has run here at First Move Furnishaid by Top Banana this year. Although the club has finished for Christmas it will be back in February next year and will also be running on a Tuesday the Char Grill Burger Club. Looking forward to seeing you all in February 2025.

We are always in need of donations but please do not leave anything outside our building when we are closed. This mattress was recently left outside and unfortunately it rained so by the time it was discovered it was no use to us. We now have to dispose of it.
