Gplan Blofeld, named after the bond villain, upholstered in kazbar in red and cotswold velvet in mallard.

This chair has been an odesy, it's such an iconic peice and genuinely one of the most comfortable chairs you'll ever sit it. Makes you feel like an absolute boss!

Loads of lessons learnt, especially about deep buttoning with and unyielding velvet. 🤣

An ironbavk victorian nursing chair requiring hours if hand stitching on to the frame, and a tonne of lessons learnt along the way.

Once again with this chair I have waged war with the salmon pink velvet that seemed to be used by every upholsterer at one point, I can not tell you how many chairs I have peeled this stuff off 😂😂 Boldly reimagined in omega velvets with footstall and accent cushion created using an incredible embroidered fabric by

Mid century modern armchair with secret armrest table. Upholstered in vintage velvet in Petrol.

Would you believe that this chair came to me in pieces! Many would think it was destined for the tip, but look what happens when you pour love back into a peice of furniture. The wood was stripped and the refinished with teak oil, I also had to drill out all the old broken dowels and glue the frame back together. Then we chose a beautiful textured velvet that would harmonize with the character and colour of the frame.

Got a project you think is too far gone, think again! I'm taking commission bookings for the autumn. 🥰

I'm embarking on my first iron back nursing chair. Having stripped the salmon coloured velvet off(why was this particular hue so popular) I'm so pleased I don't have to do the full rebuild on this one. It looks so complicated! You have to painstakingly hand stitch each layer on to the metal frame of the chair.

Watch this space for the reveal of the wild and wonderful fabric choices that will be going on this chair, and a few other peices for my client. She has a super bold vision with some acid brights and some beautiful embroidered fabric.

Next on the bench. This one is iconic! Recognise the shape from a James Bond movie. Dr No sat in one striking his cat and feeling evil.

This is a replica Blofeld by G plan made in the 1960's. Its needing lots of love with a very saggy seat and worn fabric. My clients are great fun too and are up for going a bit wild, whilst still keeping the essence of what makes these chairs so recognisable. Watch this space, it's going to be epic!

Just finished work on this beast! Talk about a statement peice. Thankyou for giving me such a fun project to do. We took this big brown chair and gave it a total glow up with black and teal curved arms, and this incredible animal print. My client said her favorite detail is how the two giraffes are peeking over the arms ❤

Recently finished this comission for One of the comfiest chairs I have ever sat in, it's a real curl your feet up with a good book by the fire chair.

As you may have seen from my earlier posts this chair needing a total base rebuild and is now looking fabulous in florals! 💐 I am starting to feel like these chairs are like visitors to my home that come in a bit battered, get lots of tlc and some pampering, stay a little while for some good conversation and then head off home feeling better than ever ❤

Final stages. I love making welting, and I love the way it can lift a peice of furniture. It smooths out edges, it's like the cherry on the cake.

For this chair belonging to we have chosen welting made from the main fabric, to allow the floral design to get all the glory. I'm just waiting for the matching buttons to arrive and this chair will be winging it's way back home.
