47 years ago today I started in the soft furnishing industry doing apprenticeship. I was at the firm until 1993 when my two bosses retired close business down then I decided to go self-employed and have been ever since and I still enjoy my job. I do work for a lot of lovely people who I subcontract out to and I still have regular clients going back over the years, which is so nice and I have people saying aren’t you going to retire and I say not yet not for quite awhile, the photograph is of a job I did fit today down in Wales that’s the one thing you get about to see some lovely countryside and meet new people.

Here’s a few more JellyRoll rugs the first photo is a table runner. The second photo is a small smaller table runner.
The blue one is a small table runner on I’ve given this to my sister, the multicoloured one is a one for one of the bedrooms and the round pink one is in the bedroom and then the last one I’ve made is a green rug. I really enjoy making these because it’s different for what I do during the day.

2 jellyroll rugs made this weekend in the evening.
Same Fabric on both but works slightly different to give slightly different appearance to each rug. The one thing with these you can just put them in the washing machine and iron them and the back on the floor and they are so easy to make.
next one, I’m gonna have a go and making a round one in different pinks Fabric.
i’ve really enjoyed making these as for the last two weeks. I’ve been doing jury service so needed something to do in the evenings to take my mind off what I’ve heard during the day.

Was trusted to make this memory bear someone I follow on Instagram who works in TV as her little boy has gone up to big school so she wanted a memory bear made out out of his old school uniform from primary School, really pleased how it’s turned out did a few extras by making him a hat and a scarf.
