I wanted to post to let all my loyal customers know that towards the end of 2024 I will be winding down business for Q Bikes Ltd. The cycling industry on a whole has been suffering from a downturn since the cycling highs of the pandemic & my business has also suffered from a downturn over the past 18 months. I have, however, been spending the last 12 months re qualifying as an electrician & consequently have started another business, AmpUp Electrical Solutions Ltd so I'm currently getting myself back into a construction related industry where I began my career back in 1991. I'm continuing to service out of my workshop for the foreseeable future as I build up the electrical business but will wind that down when it takes off properly. If I don't see any of you again with your bikes maybe I can be of service in the future for any electrical work? I intent to carry out all types of domestic electrical installations, Electric Vehicle charging points, fault finding, Inspection & testing, etc. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my customers that have given me business for the past 11 years whilst I embark upon this new chapter. It was just by chance this year that stage 14 of The Tour de France, 15th July 2023, happened to land in Morzine where we take our annual mountain biking holiday. What a fantastic atmosphere to be part of the crowd on the Col de Joux Plane mountain climb & see the race leaders Jonas Vingegaard & tadej pogačar fly past us. The French really love their famous bike race & embrace the whole celebration by getting as close as they can to the cyclists.
