On the back of my post about the mantle piece I’ve had another order, wood is selected and brackets chosen. And now to the fun part of taking thr oak beam and bringing to life, I will take pics throughout all stages.

A family member had a log burner installed and wanted a chunky mantle piece, I obliged by taking a price of reclaimed oak, cut it to size and sanding it to 240 grit before 3 layers of wax. The grain pops and it looking great installed….
