Yesterday was spent decorating our clients' beautiful home for Christmas. Pink, White, Gold and Taupe was the chosen colour scheme and since the home is a farmhouse, we wanted to give it a country feel, so we hand painted over 150 wooden geese, doves and robins, wooden birdhouses, Christmas puddings, snowy pinecones, baubles and a little bit of joy! In the kitchen we decorated the kitchen cabinets with garlands dressed in snowy pinecones, pink snowflakes, white bells, cinnamon sticks and dried oranges and limes. In the livingroom we added a small tree dressed in pink snowflakes, geese, baubles and wooden stockings decorated with the children's initials. In the hallway we added a garland of pink wooden hearts, bells and snowflakes and on the porch door we dressed a pink Joy wreath, with bells and a dove, a porcelain star and a country bow with little bit of bling. Finally we scented everything with specially blended oils of mandarin, cinnamon, clove and gingerbread, leaving the whole house filled with the wonderful smell of a Hearty Hame Christmas! A merry Christmas to the family and thank you for inviting us to create your Christmas hame. Claire and Jane ♡
