🌟 Hartlepool Heroes 2025 🌟

The historic Borough Hall was buzzing with pride and emotion as around 300 people gathered for the unforgettable return of the Hartlepool Heroes awards ceremony! 💛👏

After a brief pause last year for essential repairs, the third edition of this special event did not disappoint — celebrating the incredible, selfless individuals who make Hartlepool such a remarkable place to live.

🎤 Hosted brilliantly by BBC Tees’ Gary Philipson, the evening was filled with powerful stories of courage, kindness and community spirit.

Organised by The PFC Trust in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council and Hartlepool Carers, the night honoured 14 inspirational winners, including:
🏅 Thomas Lynn – Young Carer of the Year
🏅 Micky Day – Lifetime Achievement Award, for founding the amazing Miles for Men charity.

We have a range of modern micro-processor controlled injection moulding machines on our plant list ranging from 50 tonnes up to 200 tonnes, which enable us to mould components ranging from 1g to just over 500g

Supplemented by ancillary equipment, including de-humidifying dryers, conveyors, hot runner controllers, sprue picking robots and mould heaters, this means we can mould almost all commercially available plastic materials.

Seaton Carew GC hosting North England Women's Amateur Championship

THE deadline is fast approaching for entries to the inaugural North England Women's Amateur Championship – offering a combined prize pot of £2,300.

The event has also been approved by the R&A for the awarding of World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points, elevating its status among a select number of such tournaments held nationwide outside of county events.

The 54-hole strokeplay championship, sponsored by Plastic Processing Limited, will take place on Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28.

Seaton Carew GC’s club secretary, Roy Leonard, said: “This tournament represents an important step in the development of women’s golf in the North of England.
